  1. Greet the client: When the client arrives, greet them warmly and make them feel comfortable. Offer them a seat and ask if they would like any water or refreshments.
  2. Listen actively: Once the client has settled in, listen actively to their concerns and questions. Give them your full attention and avoid interrupting them. Take notes if necessary to ensure that you understand their situation completely.
  3. Explain the legal process: After the client has shared their concerns, explain the legal process to them. Let them know what they can expect, how long it may take, and what their options are. Answer any questions they may have in clear and simple terms.
  4. Provide legal advice: Based on the client’s situation, provide legal advice and recommend a course of action. Explain the pros and cons of each option and the potential outcomes. Make sure that the client understands the risks and benefits of each option.
  5. Discuss fees: Before taking on the client’s case, discuss the fees and payment terms. Provide a clear and detailed breakdown of the costs involved and any retainer fees required.
  6. Follow up: After the initial meeting, follow up with the client to provide updates on their case and answer any additional questions they may have.
  7. Maintain confidentiality: All discussions with the client should be kept confidential. Do not disclose any information to third parties without the client’s consent.

Remember to always be professional, empathetic, and respectful when interacting with clients in an advocate chamber. Your goal is to provide the best possible legal advice and representation to your client while maintaining a positive and productive relationship.
